The current fuel shortage in Lagos
The current fuel shortage in Lagos may soon worsen following a technical fault that has forced the Satelite Depot (one of the major products holding facility for the South West) to shut down over the weekend.
According to Mr Alamu AYO – Chairman Independent Petroleum Marketers Association of Nigeria (IPMAN) Satelite Depot, the depot is not functional. It broke down a few days ago worsening distribution efforts of marketers.
To make matters worse, another major petroleum depot in the state, Apapa Depot has no single product. The combined capacity of the two depots were currently in no way able to serve Lagos as Marketers who used to be given 102-105 trucks in the past are now receiving 6-8 trucks daily.
He however stated that the government entered into an Memorandum of Understanding with the marketers in which Marketers were assured of product availability by first week in May.

The Nigerian Police as a symbol of confusion...
On Sunday the 24, April 2016....
The Nigeria police force were invited to arrest for some stupid reason that could have been denied if only they listened to the details as reported by the complainant.
They complained of how the neighbor played foot ball and that it hits their window sometimes, but the interesting part of the story is the complainant claimed to have studied Physical Education as a degree in the University.
The police officers who came around inspected the entire place and would have left in peace when the complainant by name Emeka made a twist to the reported case as he said that it was no longer the case of football nuisances but that he suspect that drugs was been sold as well... all of these was just to achieve the aim of arresting the Landlord and occupant who had the field were all class of people did come to play football... i as a Blogger, Journalist and Write do visit this said spot for aerobics and nothing of sort went on there as accused by the demented acting complainant.
The police had a thorough search of the place and found nothing and still went ahead to pick people including the owner of the home simply because the complainant who came with his sister's back-up threatened to call the Commissioner of police....
Isn't the Nigerian police suppose to pray peace for the Mass, Police good will for the people and defend the unjustly accused.. but no the Nigerian police is now a proper Symbol of Confusion.... is now all about who has the Commissioner's Numbers...
